Your clients see what you send to the encoder. Usually that is the same signal that feeds your grading monitor.
With a DeckLink or UltraStudio (recommended)
- In Resolve, open Project Settings › Master Settings › Video Monitoring and set the video format and SDI or HDMI output for your project.
- Connect a spare SDI or HDMI output of your DeckLink or UltraStudio to your hardware encoder, or loop through from your monitor feed.
- Your clients now see exactly the timeline viewer, without Resolve’s interface.
A LUT box between the output and the encoder is optional. Clients watch on many different displays, so most colorists send a clean Rec. 709 signal.
With OBS on the grading computer
- In Resolve, choose Workspace › Video Clean Feed and pick a second display. Resolve shows the viewer full screen there.
- In OBS, capture that display or window and stream it with the OBS settings.
This works without extra hardware, but it uses CPU and GPU on your grading computer. For long sessions a hardware encoder is the calmer choice.

Use Test your stream on your room page and compare the picture with your monitor.
